Plumbing pipes are usually made from copper or PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) and Wolcott professionals can help you choose which is best for you and your system. More traditional copper pipes are built to last, but pricier to install. PEX piping is cheaper and easier to install and it won’t freeze or corrode, but it can’t be used outside or connected directly to your water heater
